YUM, YUM, YUM!!!! We ate at your place in May while in Charleston for our daughter's gymnastics competition. She's a total carnivore, so y'all lost money when she hit the buffet! Y'all are neck-and-neck with our favorite BBQ shack here at home. Hey, my daughters even bought t-shirts! I'm recommending you to some friends who'll be traveling through there shortly.

Well not only was I impressed but I did bring clients in for your lunch buffet and they were overly impressed by the wonderful selection and flavor of food on your buffett. We also brought some brisket and ribs back to the poor employee who had to stay behind and run the store. He gets to go to the buffet next time. Keep it up!! :-^

I was able to sample the best brisket I have ever put in my mouth at the Sertoma BBQ Championship last Saturday. I was a volunteer so I got to walk around after I was done. You were the best of the best!!! Look for me to bring clients in to eat at your Goose Creek location within a week. Thanks for having such true "Southern Charm"!!!

I love JB's sooo much! I started vacationing in South Carolina a couple of years ago. Everytime I've brought a friend I make sure to go to JB's... They still talk about this place and tell others to go if they ever visit this area of South Carolina. Everything from the BBQ to the sides, to the dessert is amazing! Thank You!

My absolute favorite place to go for BBQ and great conversation! I've been going to the GC location since they opened...it's on my way to and from work so sometime I stop in just to get a BBQ sandwich to take to work (when I'm on 2nd shift). You really need to try this place for the best BBQ in the state!!

What an amazing testimony to your life's work! We have not had the pleasure of indulging in your tasty wares...yet. Based on these testimonies alone...our next dinner out will be at your place! This is fantastic bbq! The meats, the sides, the sauces are all the best. We look forward to getting great bbq everytime we head down to Seabrook to visit. Everyone is so very nice and so funny that spending 5 minutes at the counter brightens any day. Great food and hospitality is their generous gift to everyone who stops in. And here is the extra special thing about them. When I wanted to bring home some bbq to my husband who could not make it down, they froze me up some ribs and some pulled pork and poured some sauce into water bottles so I could toss that wonderful gift in my luggage and make him one happy man! I have driven by this place for years - every time we come to Kiawah, we go by and I never used to stop becuase it did not look too fancy. My mistake! This is absolutely the best bar-b-que and southern vegies I have ever had. Everyone staying on Kiawah - don't go to Charleston to eat - stop here and save a bundle and get the best! We are planning on coming back at least every other month all the way from Atlanta just so we can eat at JB's. You guys are the best! Becky Capes & Family

We were looking to try some Southern BBQ while on vacation on Kiawah Island. Were we surprised to come across the best BBQ we have ever had. The variety of food offered was excellent, there was something for everyone in our two family group. The tour of the kitchen and the hats were great. I believe I could eat your BBQ, ribs, and especially the brisket 4 nights a week! And the veggies are just down right good ole country cooking! The family atmosphere and the service can't be beat. Whenever I have out of town guests, JB's is the first place we go! My daughter, son-in-law and grandson love JB's food so much that whenever I go visit them in Spartanburg, I'm always asked if I'll stop by JB's and load the car up on my way out of town

Kristin and I were married on Kiawah Island in May. JB's provided the BBQ for a large picnic we had the evening before the wedding. They were great to work with. All the food was ready on time, yet freshly cooked. All of our guests raved about the food. You might want to get extra 'Spicy Tomato Sauce' if you cater a party. This was popular and went fast. I am so glad I live near great BBQ like JB's Smokeshack. The brisket is great and the ribs are outstanding! The rib sauce is THE perfect compliment to the rub. Thank God for Barbeque and let me sing my praise for this restaurant. Being from TX I'm spoiled finding plenty of great barbeque back home. However, this was some of the best barbeque I've had to date, anywhere. The meats were tender and full of smoky flavor. Trust me, you have to try the brisket! The variety of sauces were fantastic a perfect match for the rubs they use (I especially liked their rib sauce and the (almost TX style) spicy sauce). The side fixins' were darn good too. I hope you give them a try and I'm sure if you do you will be a disciple too.

By golly, I want people to know that they don't come any friendlier than the owners of this Shack!!...and the food is soooo 'down home' gooood!! If you think the Barbque is good..you should taste their smoked turkey!
